Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in operations management, hospitality, or a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or senior leadership role.
Job DescriptionJob Purpose Statement:The Sr. Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence within the department. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can develop and execute business strategies, manage financial performance, and support the professional development of the team. The Senior Manager acts as a bridge between operational staff and senior leadership, ensuring seamless communication, compliance with company policies, and continuous improvement to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of departments and sections, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Report operational deviations and significant issues to the VP - Airports Lounges.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic objectives for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ensure that all staff comply with instructions and directives issued by the VP - Airports Lounges.
  • Ensure 100% adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across all operational areas.
  • Lead the implementation and usage of new systems and tools, including UCAS, across all business units.
  • Oversee the timely submission of critical reports (daily/monthly sales, passenger statistics, temperature records, and inventory) to relevant stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of lounge menus, gathering passenger feedback and recommending adjustments to the VP - Airports Lounges.
  • Ensure the highest quality of food and service delivery across Airport Lounge business units.
  • Oversee compliance with hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards for all food and beverage areas, ensuring compliance with Quality Assurance protocols.
  • Lead food tasting and kitchen inspections on a monthly basis.
  • Drive profitability by ensuring operational expenses are aligned with approved budgets.
  • Control food and beverage consumption to reduce waste and optimize costs.
  • Support the VP - Airports Lounges in budget preparation and financial forecasting using data-driven insights.
  • Review and analyze food costs, ensuring alignment with the budget and cost control objectives.
  • Explore opportunities for cost reduction, such as alternative suppliers or process improvements.
  • Ensure proper control and tracking of fixed assets, backup equipment, and operational resources.
  • Supervise and verify the inventory of food and beverage stocks, ensuring the proper checklist and documentation process.
  • Ensure proper recording and tracking of incoming and outgoing equipment using standardized inventory checklists.
  • Monitor staff performance, identifying career growth opportunities and making recommendations for promotions, increments, and contract renewals.
  • Motivate and empower staff through recognition, support, and clear delegation of responsibilities.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing constructive feedback for staff improvement.
  • Ensure adequate staffing, optimal manpower utilization, and fair distribution of workload.
  • Organize team-building activities, monthly meetings, and gatherings to foster collaboration, enhance morale, and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to ensure staff adherence to personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Monitor customer feedback, handling complaints and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Take corrective action on all passenger feedback, complaints, and suggestions through direct responses via email, phone, or written correspondence.
  • Collaborate with in-charge personnel to address customer-related issues and ensure the highest standard of passenger satisfaction.
  • Implement corrective actions for quality issues to meet hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Conduct inspections and ensure quality checks for food shelf life, expiration dates, and food condition before delivery and during pick-up.
  • Ensure proper documentation of quality checks for internal and external audits.
  • Identify and implement improvements in workflows, policies, and procedures for increased efficiency.
  • Leverage insights from operational data to identify growth opportunities and areas for process enhancement.
  • Lead initiatives to explore new business opportunities in both airline and non-airline industries.
  • Attend daily briefing sessions with the VP - Airports Lounges to discuss and address critical operational matters.
  • Ensure effective communication and information sharing with supervisors and section in-charges.
  • Act as a key liaison between departments, ensuring timely sharing of operational data, reports, and statistics.
  • Ensure timely reporting of operational, financial, and administrative metrics to senior leadership.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the VP - Airports Lounges on performance improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Lead audits and follow up on corrective actions, ensuring accountability for operational gaps.
  • Explore opportunities to expand the company’s operations within the airline and non-airline industry sectors.
  • Identify strategic partnerships to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Perform other duties related to the job and/or the operation of the company, in accordance with the regulations of the Saudi Labor of Law. Adherence to Cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Dealing with data and information according to their level of classification.
  • Avoid violating the rights of any person or company protected by copyrights, patents, or any other intellectual property, or similar laws or regulations.
  • Compliance with Cybersecurity requirements related to the protection of user devices, Internet, software, systems, and Email requirements.
  • Adhere to the acceptable use policy and Using CATRION information and technical assets only for business purposes.
  • Obtaining the required permit from the security department or the owner of the authority in CATRION before hosting visitors in the company's specific sensitive sites.
  • Reporting Cybersecurity incidents.
Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle operational issues.
  • Experience in food and beverage service, airline lounges, or similar environments is highly preferred.
