Claims Processing Analyst
Job ScopeThe Claims Processing Analyst is responsible for efficiently managing, analyzing, and resolving claims related to supplier payment.This role ensures that vendor disputes, contract compliance issues, and claims are handled promptly, accurately, and in alignment with organizational policies and standards.The Claims Processing Analyst plays a key role in safeguarding the organization's financial interests and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.Key Duties, Responsibility & Accountabilities
  • Review, validate, and process claims related to procurement transactions, including payment discrepancies, and service level agreement violations. Investigate claims to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve claims efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims activities, including correspondence, supporting documentation, and resolution status. Generate regular reports on claims trends, status, and key metrics for management review. Ensure claims documentation is compliant with Satorp and local regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze procurement processes and transactions to identify recurring issues or patterns in claims. Ensure all claims are processed in compliance with contracts, organizational policies, and legal regulations. Collaborate with the legal and compliance teams on high-risk or complex claims.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding claims issues, ensuring timely and professional communication. Coordinate with internal departments such as Accounts Payable, Finance, and Legal to facilitate claim resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for improving claims management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Develop and recommend best practices for handling procurement-related claims.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with procurement claims, including financial losses and reputational impacts. Proactively develop strategies to minimize future claims and disputes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent closely related field
Minimum ExperienceMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in claims processing, procurement, or supply chain roles. Experience in a corporate procurement environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in procurement and claims management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle disputes professionally and build positive working relationships.
