Dear AllWe are looking for The Lead Site Piping Engineer is responsible for managing all piping engineering and construction activities on-site for the Saudi Aramco LSTK project involving relocation of water wells. This role ensures that piping installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, and best engineering practices.The Lead Site Piping Engineer will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and construction personnel to deliver safe, high-quality piping systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and supervise the piping engineering team on-site during construction, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Review piping drawings, isometrics, and related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with project and Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Coordinate with construction teams to develop detailed piping installation plans, schedules, and resources.
  • Monitor piping fabrication, installation, welding, and inspection activities to ensure adherence to quality, safety, and schedule requirements.
  • Interface closely with procurement, QA/QC, and subcontractors to resolve piping-related technical and quality issues.
  • Perform regular site inspections, quality checks, and oversee non-conformance reports related to piping works.
  • Support pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning activities of piping systems.
  • Ensure proper tagging, preservation, and documentation of piping materials and components on-site.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide solutions for piping challenges encountered during site work.
  • Collaborate with other discipline leads (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly progress reports and technical documentation related to piping works.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies and promote safe working practices among the piping team.
  • Liaise with Saudi Aramco representatives and third-party inspectors during inspections and audits.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in piping engineering for oil & gas EPC/LSTK projects, with at least 5 years’ experience in a site leadership role.
  • Proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects and familiarity with their piping codes, standards, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design, fabrication, welding, inspection, and testing.
  • Experience with ASME, API, ASTM, and Saudi Aramco piping standards.
  • Hands-on knowledge of piping materials, supports, stress analysis, and corrosion protection methods.
  • Proficient in reviewing isometrics, P&IDs, and construction documents.
  • Familiarity with pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of piping systems.
Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in remote site conditions.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and piping design/review software.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic skills are an advantage.
