- Ensure the accomplishment of organizational unit objectives by managing staff; planning and evaluating organizational unit activities.
- Define objectives, identifies, and evaluates trends and options, chooses a course of action, and evaluates outcomes.
- Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Support with strategic problems resolution and subjective decision making
- Supervise the entire work done by the team members and making sure it is completed on time without any delay.
- Lead the team to complete tasks and meet goals through delegation of responsibilities and supervising business operations.
- Set the vision and motivation of the team in order to achieve the sought objectives efficiently.

- Track and report critical organizational unit performance results and escalate and negotiate business related issues to senior management.
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, andappraising job results.
- Leading the preparation of risk assessment documentation in compliance with Saudi legislation.
- Providing strategic technical and regulatory support to Organizational Units during authorization procedures and ensuring continuous compliance with evolving legislation.
- Overseeing comprehensive occupational risk assessments, covering aspects such as workplace design, equipment, and risk factors.
- Directly managing the evaluation and identification of prevention measures, PPE selection, and safety procedure formulation.
- Initiating information and training programs on Occupational Health and Safety, aiming for continuous improvement in safety standards.
- Managing the evaluation of the technical suitability of Contractors and the formulation of risk assessment documents.
- Coordinating with Contracting Companies and overseeing fire prevention, evacuation, and first aid activities.
- Cultivating relationships with Public Services for emergency management and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and technological advancements.
- Directly supervising staff responsible for emergency interventions and overseeing health surveillance obligations.
- Fulfilling legal obligations in case of accidents, maintaining relevant documentation, and conducting statistical surveys.
- Managing relationships with external bodies monitoring workplace hygiene and safety.
- Conducting systematic managerial visits to ensure the proper implementation of prevention and protection measures.
- Ensure constant and sufficient regulatory support for all Shipyard Organizational Units, focusing on the application and development of environmental protection legislation.
- Drive and participate in the formulation of company procedures alongside relevant Shipyard Organizational Units, emphasizing compliance with regulations to prevent pollution during routine operations.
- Take direct actions within the scope of environmental expertise to enforce compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate checks on systems and processes to verify alignment with mandatory environmental legislation.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external entities responsible for monitoring environmental matters.
- Collaborate in defining technical and organizational methods for overseeing cleaning activities within the Shipyard, including ships under construction/fitting out, and waste collection and disposal.
- Conduct control and surveillance activities within the environmental domain, ensuring compliance with contracts, legal regulations, and company procedures by cleaning companies, ship operators, and waste collection entities.
- Undertake independent or company-initiated internal controls at the Plant, aiming to ensure the adoption of necessary measures for optimal environmental protection and safeguarding.
- Manage QMS and Manual oversight, directing quality control, prevention, and improvement activities in the Military Shipyard.
- Assess and communicate product quality aspects for hull activities at other factories.
- Lead and oversee certification processes, ensuring effective coordination among Shipyard Organizational Units aligned with Top Management guidelines.
- Supervise verification, distribution, and archival of QMS documentation, excluding Shipyard Operating Instructions, handled by the Methods Organizational Unit.
- Provide managerial support for organizing Quality and Safety Committees and Review activities, including document preparation and proper archiving.
- Support Management in coordinating relationships with Customers/Classification Bodies regarding quality aspects and satisfaction, following company rules and Order Quality Plans.
- Collaborate with the team responsible for Naval Orders Quality in drafting Project Quality Control (PQC), with a specific focus on the Control and Testing Plan.
- Oversee archival of records for checks in the Control and Testing Plan and PCP checks, ensuring completeness and correctness.
- Plan and execute relevant checks and inspections according to established protocols.
- Take charge of developing the Non-Destructive Testing Plan (NDE Plan) in collaboration with the Methods Unit, managing the approval process by the relevant Stakeholders
- Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or any other similar field.
- 15 years and above in a related field including 10 years in a leadership role.
- Masters degree Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or any other similar field is preferred.
