- Manage the activities and performance of all subordinates.
- Manage sourcing materials / services and place orders directly as required.
- Report on all activities and performance of team.
- Review and report on costs of major assigned commodities and all cost savings obtained.
- Manage and liaise planned sourcing/procurement activities with customers.
- Assess and report on the performance and capabilities of existing suppliers. Develop enhanced capabilities in existing suppliers. Recommend new suppliers as appropriate to ensure continued cost reduction in major assigned commodities.
- Coordinate with line/functional manager on development/performance of all subordinates
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in SAP ERP (MM module).
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Leadership experience in procurement or supply chain is a plus.
