- Prepare detailed cost estimates for Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine material and labor costs.2. Budget Preparation
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all estimates align with client expectations and project goals.3.Quantity Takeoffs
- Perform quantity takeoffs to accurately assess the amount of materials required for MEP installations.4. Bid Preparation:
- Assist in preparing bids for projects, ensuring that all necessary components are included and accounted for.5. Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and Technical team to gather information and understand project requirements.6. Market Research
- Conduct research to stay updated on material costs, labor rates, and industry trends to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.7. Risk Analysis
- Identify potential risks and uncertainties in cost estimation and suggest mitigation strategies.8. Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation for future reference.9. Review and Adjustments
- Review and adjust estimates based on project changes or new information, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.10. Client Communication
- Communicate with clients regarding cost estimates, scope changes, and any potential impacts on project budgets.Skills Required- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
