MECHANICAL SUPERVISOR

- Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works at solar and/or power plant project sites.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with project specifications, standards, and timelines.
- Monitor contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for adherence to technical and safety requirements.
- Coordinate with electrical, civil, and other discipline supervisors for effective cross-functional operations.
- Review mechanical drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain records of progress and quality control.
- Ensure all mechanical systems (piping, HVAC, fire protection, support structures, etc.) are installed to code and tested correctly.
- Support commissioning activities including pre-commissioning checks, pressure/leak testing, and handover documentation.
- Report progress, issues, and delays to the Project Manager in a timely manner.
- Enforce strict adherence to company HSE standards and participate in toolbox talks and safety audits.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in mechanical supervision, with at least 3 years in solar or power generation projects (e.g., PV plants, diesel/gas power stations, or hybrid systems).
- Knowledge of mechanical systems in power and solar infrastructure.
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, ASTM, API, etc.).
- Understanding of solar mounting systems, piping layouts, pumps, valves, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- HSE or safety training certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH). (Preferred)
- PMP or project management exposure is a plus. (Preferred)
