Managing budgets for the IT Solutions and Quality departmentTranslating business needs into system requirements and developing/delivering/implementing solutions successfullyReviewing upgrade plans to ensure alignment with current and future business goalsEnsuring solution delivery is on time and within budgetOverseeing vendor activities during system implementation and deliveryLeading negotiations for software licenses, services and maintenance contractsLeading and developing department staff through training, performance tracking and mentorshipCoordinating with other department heads to keep change initiatives on track and within scopeEnsuring compliance with SDLC best practices across development teamsSystems Quality Assurance and UATMaximise system availability and performance through proactive managementOverseeing end-to-end system upgrades, product setups and production readinessProfileThe Head of IT Solutions and Quality will be/have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields of study8+ years of experience in solutions development and quality assurance within the Banking/Financial Services sectorExcellent leadership skills; previously led solutions development teamsStrong project management skillsKnowledge of crisis management and disaster recoveryAbility to work cross-functionally, and interact with various technical/non-technical stakeholdersBased in/willing to relocate to JeddahA Saudi national (strongly preferred)Job OfferThe salary for the Head of IT Solutions and Quality role will be between SAR 40,000-50,000.
