DeepSource Technologies is looking for an OCI Cloud Reliability, Automation & Governance Engineer in Riyadh, KSA. This role focuses on ensuring the reliability and governance of our Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments while automating processes to enhance efficiency and compliance. You will play a crucial role in deploying, managing, and optimizing OCI resources, ensuring they operate securely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of OCI resources.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Establish governance frameworks and policies for OCI usage, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with security teams to implement security best practices and audits for OCI infrastructure.
  • Optimize costs and resources within the OCI environment by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Document processes, policies, and architecture to ensure clarity and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational capabilities and introduce automation workflows.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for IaC automation.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools in OCI for proactive resource management.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks in cloud environments.
  • Understanding of networking and security concepts in cloud architecture.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Preferred Skills:
  • OCI certification such as OCI Architect or similar.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
  • Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
