- Develop and execute project controls strategies specifically for roads and highways projects, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Manage and optimize project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to track the progress of infrastructure initiatives.
- Identify and analyze risks associated with project execution and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Provide detailed reports and presentations to management and stakeholders showcasing project cost status, forecasts, and timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to ensure effective integration of project controls into all phases of project delivery.
- Lead and mentor the project controls team, providing guidance on technical matters and enhancing their professional development.
- Ensure that all project control activities are documented accurately and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Keep informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations that can enhance project delivery methods.
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- At least 10 years of project controls experience specifically related to roads and highways projects.
- Proven experience managing project controls for large infrastructure projects.
- In-depth understanding of scheduling, cost estimating, and risk management specific to road/highway construction.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to data management and reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant project management software and tools is essential.
- PMP or equivalent certification will be advantageous.
- Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
