- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive project control system that encompasses cost, schedule, risk, and performance management.
- Lead and mentor a team of project control professionals, providing guidance and support in best practices and tools.
- Monitor project performance and report progress to senior management, highlighting issues, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and schedules through effective planning, monitoring, and controlling processes.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to formulate accurate forecasts and develop mitigation strategies for potential risks.
- Create and present executive-level project control reports, dashboards, and other materials to facilitate decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project controls function, leveraging industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations in all project control activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in project controls with a demonstrable track record in the construction or real estate sector.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, with proficiency in project scheduling and cost management.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and relevant reporting tools.
- Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent are highly regarded.
- Prior experience in large-scale projects within the entertainment and leisure industry is an advantage.
