Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and execute the design and implementation of mechanical systems for high-rise and hotel projects.
  • Supervise and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure mechanical works are executed as per design, codes, and standards.
  • Review, approve, and provide technical guidance on shop drawings, material submittals, and design documents.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards, Saudi building codes, and project specifications.
  • Conduct detailed site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and progress of mechanical works.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, ensuring full functionality and integration with other services.
  • Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and technical reports for project activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, structural, and electrical teams for effective interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Identify potential risks, propose technical solutions, and resolve site issues promptly.
  • Support procurement activities by evaluating technical offers and ensuring material compliance.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise junior engineers and site teams to build technical expertise.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project timelines, cost, and quality benchmarks.
  • Ensure sustainability and energy efficiency measures are incorporated into mechanical designs.
  • Represent the mechanical discipline in meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum 15 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in high-rise or hotel projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
  • Familiarity with CAD, Revit, and other engineering software.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
