- Technical Leadership:
- Define and drive the technical vision and architecture for projects.
- Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, design standards, and architectural governance.
- Project Management:
- Plan and manage design-related activities across multiple projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide regular updates to leadership and escalate issues as needed.
- Design & Development:
- Develop and evaluate design concepts, prototypes, and technical solutions.
- Oversee implementation of design changes and lifecycle management.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with user needs.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Mentor junior engineers and designers.
- Assign tasks and provide technical guidance to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with internal quality systems and regulatory standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for design issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or civil or architecture).
- 7+ years in technical design or engineering roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Strong knowledge of design principles, system architecture, and development methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools and technologies relevant to the domain (e.g., CAD, Revit, and software frameworks).
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with building and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments and quality management systems.
