The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end codification of regulatory text, ensuring that financial regulations can be directly executed by machines with zero ambiguity. This requires expertise in formal logic, legal informatics, and domain-specific languages (DSLs) for regulations, along with the ability to bridge legal, financial, and technical disciplines to create Machine Executable Regulations.Responsibilities:
  • Lead the codification of regulatory text into structured, machine-executable rules.
  • Define and implement best practices for Policy as Code, ensuring unambiguous, logic-based representation of regulatory text.
  • Develop machine-readable regulatory taxonomies, knowledge graphs, and logic-based models to represent policies formally.
  • Translate regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III) into computationally enforceable, rule-based representations.
  • Ensure policy logic is verifiable, auditable, and legally consistent across jurisdictions, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
  • Apply legal NLP techniques to extract, structure, and validate policy logic from complex legal texts.
