Description:The Lead Low Current Engineer is responsible for the design, supervision, coordination, and execution of all activities related to Low Current systems, particularly Fire Alarm Systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Lighting Control Systems (LCS), in compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and approved procedures. The engineer must hold valid Aramco approval in relevant low current disciplines.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Submittals:
o Review and verify technical submissions including shop drawings, materials, and method statements in line with Aramco specifications (SAES, SAMSS, SATIPs, and SAFs).
o Coordinate with consultants and Aramco representatives for design validation and approval.
  • Execution & Supervision:
o Lead site execution and ensure installation complies with approved IFC drawings and Aramco standards.
o Coordinate closely with Electrical and Civil teams to ensure correct routing and termination.
o Monitor subcontractor work for quality and progress.
  • Testing & Commissioning (T&C):
o Prepare and submit T&C procedures for Aramco approval.
o Supervise field testing and pre-commissioning activities.
o Liaise with Aramco inspectors for SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) and handover process.
  • Documentation & Compliance:
o Ensure all activities are documented as per Aramco QA/QC procedures.
o Participate in inspections, generate ITP checklists, and maintain Redline markups and As-Built drawings.
  • Team Leadership:
o Guide and manage the engineering and site execution team.
o Provide technical mentoring and ensure training and compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Aramco Approved for Fire Alarm, BMS, and LCS.
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Low Current Systems, with at least 5 years on Aramco projects.
  • Hands-on experience with systems such as Siemens, Schneider, Honeywell, Notifier, Johnson Controls, etc.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, IEC, and Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards (SAES).
  • Strong knowledge of ELV integration, interface matrix, and control philosophies.
Skills Required:
  • Excellent leadership and team coordination.
  • Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.
  • Effective communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
NOTE: Siemens Experience is Must.
