Regional Financial Accountant

• Perform month end account closing activities and reconciliation of financial statements and accounts. In addition to maintaining the GL and preparing journal entries for accruals and variances
• Support in the preparation of monthly financial statements and report to HQ
• Prepare weekly cashflow statement and controlling expenditure and cash flow collecting and analyzing data
• Update and reconcile client fund management budgets to sales invoices raised and supplier invoices received recorded in the client work in progress job costing module to ensure accurate reporting and efficient management of client funds
• Work closely with Account Managers and Project Leads to ensure Reconciliation & control of budgets in Project Accounting
• Reconciliation of Project budgets, WIP accounts and intercompany accounts
• Prepare, review and file of company returns, Withholding taxes, and Income Tax Returns for KSA, Qatar and UAE
• Support with the quarterly/ yearly audit process liaising with external auditors

• Degree educated with a professional accountancy qualification, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent
• Middle East experience in statutory reporting filing taxes in KSA, knowledge of UAE and Qatar a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to form positive working relationships with colleagues in ME, UK and around the Group
• Ability to work within tight deadlines -day-to-day running of business, monthly reporting and group submissions
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English
