Job Description:JOB SUMMARY:The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with the highest quality and safety standards. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior will perform OJT on location as required. The B1 Mechanical Technician Senior may also be responsible to support MRO department.LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and ProceduresComply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and RegulationsWork as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environmentUndertake individually or as part of a team, the aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, troubleshooting, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer proceduresUndertake individually or as part of a team, all daily preventive, corrective, servicing and routine maintenance works required to release the aircraft to flyPerform all scheduled and unscheduled activities to be on time, on cost and on quality while maintaining all safety requirementsConduct operational implementation on flight line (daily servicing, refueling, helicopter towing)Check every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct useCheck every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correctDetermine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerance, fuel and hydraulic leaks and corrosion damageInterpret wiring diagrams, blueprints and technical publicationDetermine repair procedures necessary to correct defective equipmentSolve maintenance problems, achieves proper operating deficiency of components such as rotor heads, landing gear, rotor blades, transmission including controls and riggingDiagnose reoccurring malfunctions and recommend corrective action by initiation or material deficiency reportsPerform repair of componentsEnsure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basis required by AHA Management SystemEnsure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materialsVerify that the aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated, the aircraft condition is serviceable and in accordance with applicable AHA Management System to perform the Release to Service of the aircraftPerform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the AHA Management SystemEvaluate performance of assigned customer’s personnel as requiredConduct on-the-job training activityTrain personnel on the use of maintenance manualsTrain personnel in all safety directives and FOD proceduresSupervise and train junior aircraft techniciansPerform other duties as assignedThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft MaintenanceEmployment Type: Fixed termExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Material Support & services
