Job Description:JOB SUMMARY:The B2 Avionics Technician will be responsible to ensure optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities to achieve the excellent fleet availability with highest quality and safety standards. The B2 Avionics Technician will also be responsible to perform detailed inspection, assembly, installation, repair or replacement of aircraft components and systems, maintenance (both scheduled and unscheduled) or refurbishing of aircraft and function check of components. The B2 Avionics Technician will perform OJT on location as required.LIST OF RESPONSIBILITIES:Comply with all Aviation, Safety, Quality and Export Control Regulations and ProceduresComply with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies and RegulationsWork as part of a team, specific duties will include the satisfactory performance of both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the helicopter fleet, within a customer environmentUndertake individually or as part of a team, aircraft maintenance, repair and inspection tasks, quality checks and the completion of documentation in accordance with Company and Customer proceduresCheck every time before to start any maintenance activity tools/GSE´s for condition and expiration date, and ensure their correct useCheck every time before starting any maintenance activity the components and parts for conditions (damages, leaks etc.) and that the applicability of the documentation is correctPerform electrical assembly, integration and modification, system repairs, first level Quality inspection and functional tests of aircraft and componentsAnalyze performance and isolates malfunctions of integrated avionic instrument and flight control systemsConduct checkouts of avionic instrument and flight control systems and components (including repairs, overhauls, modifications, alignments, installation)Inspects avionic instrument and flight control systemsEnsure that all work performed is recorded on the appropriate paperwork and signed for on a progressive basisEnsure the correct use and control of aircraft parts and materialsVerify aircraft status regarding scheduled tasks and deferred items is updated, the aircraft condition is serviceable and sign the Release to Service of the aircraftPerform duties as assigned by the Site Manager, ensuring that all work is completed in a timely fashion and meets the delivery quality requirements of the AirbusConduct on-the-job training activityTrain personnel on the use of maintenance manualsTrain personnel in all safety directives and FOD proceduresPerform other duties as assignedThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company: Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft MaintenanceEmployment Type: Fixed termExperience Level: ProfessionalJob Family: Systems Installation
