Job Description - Senior Estimation ManagerLocation: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Industry: Contracting / ConstructionPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Estimation Manager to lead and oversee the preparation of accurate cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing strategies for large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in estimation and tendering within the contracting sector in Saudi Arabia, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and profitability.Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the estimation department, supervising estimators and quantity surveyors.Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to develop accurate cost estimates.Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and value engineering options.Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with project requirements.Coordinate with technical, procurement, planning, and operations teams during tendering stages.Conduct risk analysis and advise management on potential cost implications.Present cost estimates, tender submissions, and pricing strategies to senior management.Manage post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and final contract award processes.Maintain updated knowledge of market trends, material prices, and construction techniques in KSA.Ensure adherence to company policies, international standards, and client requirements.Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum 15 years of experience in estimation and tendering, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record in estimating large-scale building, infrastructure, or industrial projects within the KSA market.
Strong knowledge of local construction market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy, CCS, CostX, or similar).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).Key Competencies
