Looking for Maintenance Engineer / Technicians - Ambient Air Monitoring:
  • B.Sc. / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline
  • Training in Ambient Air Monitoring Systems (Thermo, Teledyne, Horiba, or equivalent); ISO 17025 QA/QC awareness
  • Minimum 5 years in operation & maintenance of ambient air monitoring systems (Oil & Gas / Industrial preferred)
  • Technician Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with ambient air analyzers, samplers, and DAS troubleshooting
  • Skills: Calibration, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of analyzers, understanding of USEPA/NCEC monitoring protocols, DAS management
  • Responsibilities:
o Responsible for the operation, calibration, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of ambient air monitoring stations, analyzers, and associated equipment to ensure accurate and reliable air quality data in compliance with Saudi Aramco EPD, NCEC, and MWAN requirements.
o Operate and maintain continuous ambient air monitoring systems (SOx, NOx, CO, O₃, VOCs, PM10, PM2.5).
o Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on analyzers, samplers, meteorological sensors, and data acquisition systems (DAS).
o Replace consumables (filters, calibration gases, sample lines) as per manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
o Conduct zero, span, and multipoint calibration checks in line with USEPA / NCEC / Aramco QA/QC protocols.
o Verify and validate data collected from ambient air monitoring stations.
o Troubleshoot data acquisition system (DAS) issues, ensuring minimum downtime.
o Support Environmental Engineers with monthly and quarterly reporting.
o Maintain calibration certificates and logs for audit readiness.
o Visual inspections of stacks, flares, and vents; sampling for VOCs, SOx, NOx; analyser checks per EPD standards. Alignment: NCEC air quality controls; MEWA pollution prohibitions; EPD SAES-A-102.
o Conduct site visits to monitor continuous emissions systems. - Collect and analyze from key sources. - Review daily logs for flaring/venting compliance. - Submit internal monthly report
o Perform comprehensive audit of all emission sources. - Compile quarterly data for NCEC/MEWA submission. - Calibrate analyzers and verify against EPD thresholds. - Conduct trend analysis for methane emissions.Note:
