Design Criteria DevelopmentMust have proven experience in defining and formulating design criteria for mechanical systems in industrial projects.Ability to translate project requirements into clear engineering specifications and functional design parameters.Experience in developing mechanical design basis documents, ensuring alignment with client expectations, plant requirements, and international codes/standards.2. Preparation of Technical Study Reports (TSRs)Should be proficient in preparing Technical Study Reports that analyze feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and performance of proposed mechanical systems.TSRs should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of:\[ System sizing\[ Equipment specifications\[ Installation constraints\[ Operational impacts3. Piping Systems ExpertiseStrong technical background in industrial piping design, layout, and material selection.Capable of reviewing or designing piping systems in accordance with ASME, API, and other relevant standards.Should be familiar with isometric drawings, P\&IDs, and capable of identifying piping modifications in brownfield scenarios.4. Pump Selection and SizingProven ability to select and size pumps for various industrial applications based on flow, head, pressure, NPSH, and other design parameters.Must understand the integration of pump systems into existing networks, including control strategies, efficiency considerations, and operational constraints.5. Brownfield Project ExperiencePractical, hands-on experience working in brownfield environments, i.e., operational industrial facilities.Must be capable of identifying constraints, risks, and interfaces when integrating new mechanical systems into existing infrastructure.Experience in performing site walkdowns, gathering field data, and coordinating with plant operations for safe design implementation.
