Role DescriptionBusiness partner (BP) to the country business heads and key member of the country management teams across the Middle EastAct as the key point of contact for HR across the Middle East countries ensuring high quality HR services deliver through collaboration with Global Human Resources Centres of Excellence (GHR COE)In partnership with the relevant GHR COE and global HR BPs, coordinate efficient and aligned delivery of GHR services in support of HR StrategyPartner with the Global HRBPs/Regional HRBP to deliver seamless delivery, business advisory and execution of country related HR mattersEnsure coordination and alignment with COEs as it relates to the regional prioritiesExecute initiatives to drive business success and transformation, with a focus on attracting, retaining, deploying and developing talent and leadershipRepresent the GHR function in relevant committees and governance bodies, ensuring full regulatory compliance of all HR activities within the regional legal entitiesAct as the HR liaison for interaction with local regulators and government bodiesEnsure HR coverage for Audit, Risk and Compliance initiativesRepresent HR in the region to include participation on HR related boards and industry forumsLocation representative for business related communications e.g. business town halls, executive visitsProvide support to Sales/RFP requests including coordinating data requests, draftFunction as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on important HR topicsCoach, mentor, and guide leaders on organizational effectivenessSupport senior leadership in developing a culture of Global Inclusion and Diversity promoting the State Street valuesMitigate risk by ensuring employment processes, practices and procedures are compliant with STT policies, risk, and governance with a focus on employment laws and regulations – balancing local requirements with global approaches in a sensitive mannerProvide data and analytics to support business insights and decisions; seek and share people related market trends and competitor intelligenceDepending on further developments of the regional HR org set up, potentially oversee countries in terms of additional reporting linesRole Qualifications & ExperienceTechnical Skills:7+ years of practical HR experience in a HR generalist role, with a focus on Business Partnering within a large and dynamic organizationStrong understanding of the Saudi Labour Laws and supporting implementation regulationsAbility to conduct internal HR compliance reviewsFluent in Arabic and EnglishStrong IT Skills – Proficiency in HRIS systems and software (QIWA, GOSI and Mudad)Key Competencies:Excellent communication skillsThe ability to work with people from a diverse range of countries and culturesThe ability to work independently on HR activities in country and be part of a global HR TeamStrong relationship builder inside and outside of Saudi ArabiaStrong influencing skills to ensure global processes are implemented and local opportunities are maximizedStrong commercial acumen, preferable in the financial services industryUnderstanding of Middle East local employment and labour regulations with direct experience in KSA and UAE (preferable)Excellent communication, presentation, consulting, interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and critical thinking skills
