The Host/Hostess plays a crucial role in the hospitality industry, serving as the first point of contact for guests in restaurants, hotels, and other establishments. This position requires a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring that guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive. The Host/Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and providing them with information about the venue's offerings. In addition to providing exceptional customer service, the Host/Hostess must also maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area, contributing to the overall ambiance of the establishment.Responsibilities: * Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression.

Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
Provide guests with menus and inform them about daily specials and promotions.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about the venue's services and availability.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Collaborate with kitchen and wait staff to ensure smooth service delivery.
Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally, striving for resolution.
Monitor dining room activity and adjust seating arrangements as necessary.
Assist in training new staff members on front-of-house procedures.
Participate in team meetings to discuss service improvements and guest satisfaction.

Preferred Candidate: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure.
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends availability.
Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Proficient in using reservation management software.
Multilingual abilities are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
