- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor upon their arrival
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently, optimizing available space
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and assist with seating
- Collaborate with waitstaff, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and dining section
- Handle phone and online reservations, confirming bookings and managing the reservation system
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and events to offer accurate information to guests
- Assist in organizing and coordinating special functions during busy periods or events
- Promote special offers and menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Adhere to company policies and procedures related to customer service and hospitality
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar hospitality role
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness, with knowledge of local customs in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
- Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in managing reservations and seating arrangements
- Basic math skills for table assignments and reservation management
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and good personal hygiene
- Knowledge of reservation systems (preferred)
- Problem-solving skills to handle guest concerns effectively
- Familiarity with hospitality industry practices and standards
