The IT Director will be responsible for establishing the IT department from scratch for a Vision 2030 start-up in the Leisure and Sport sector.This role will oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of all technology initiatives, ensuring they align with organisational goals.The IT Director will be responsible for:

Developing and executing the IT strategy to support overall organisational objectives.
Implementing enterprise systems, IT Infrastructure, Security controls, etc.
Overseeing the implementation of innovative technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
Managing IT budgets and ensure cost-effective utilisation of resources.
Ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure.
Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and address technology needs.
Monitoring emerging trends and recommending relevant technology solutions.
Identifying and managing technology vendors/service providers.
Ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices in technology management.

Work for a Sports related Vision 2030 startup.Establish the IT department from scratch.The IT Director should be/have:

A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in establishing IT functions from scratch.
Extensive knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
Strong decision-making and strategic planning capabilities.
Experience in the public sector, leisure and sport sector or a similar environments is advantageous.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A track record of delivering cost-effective and innovative IT solutions.
Based in/willing to relocate to Riyadh
