We’ve got what you’re looking for.Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Director - Infrastructure and Master planning to join our team! In this role you will get to lead the multidisciplinary design team responsible for delivering infrastructure, landscape, master planning, and public realm design. This senior leadership role oversees project strategy, client engagement, design quality, resource planning, and coordination across all workstreams to ensure the successful delivery of the project in alignment with client vision and program goals.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Lead overall delivery of design services across infrastructure, landscape, master planning, public realm, and multiple specialist services on large-scale development projects.
  • Serve as primary client liaison to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and timely decision-making.
  • Establish project governance, communication protocols, and performance tracking systems.
  • Manage multidisciplinary design teams and subconsultants to ensure seamless coordination and integration.
  • Oversee resource planning, budgeting, and schedule adherence to meet all contractual obligations.
  • Review and validate all major design submissions, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate risk management planning and proactively resolve issues impacting project delivery.
  • Represent the design team in high-level stakeholder, authority, and steering committee meetings.
  • Ensure sustainable, culturally responsive, and context-driven design outcomes.
  • Champion design excellence, innovation, and team development throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Urban Planning from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 25 years of experience, including leadership roles on major urban infrastructure or public realm programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale, multidisciplinary design teams in complex project environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure systems, urban planning, and landscape integration principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Extensive experience delivering projects within GCC or similar regional contexts.
  • Deep knowledge of project management tools, design review procedures, and risk management frameworks.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills in high-pressure project settings.
  • Experience working within or alongside governmental authorities and approval bodies.
  • Commitment to delivering innovative, inclusive, and high-quality design solutions.
