- Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets, expand the customer base, and achieve revenue targets.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a smooth and effective sales cycle.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively engaging with potential clients and managing sales opportunities.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions to secure new business contracts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, provide tailored solutions, and address their concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term partnerships and driving customer loyalty.
- Analyse market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and market positioning.
- Develop market entry strategies, pricing models, and competitive differentiation strategies to gain a competitive edge.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and marketing teams for product development and market expansion.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and research and development, to align sales strategies and deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Participate in product development discussions, providing market feedback and customer insights to guide product enhancements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover, order fulfilment, and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to track progress against targets.
- Utilise CRM software and sales analytics tools to monitor sales activities, pipeline, and conversion rates.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to budget planning and resource allocation decisions.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and networking opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices through continuous learning and professional development.
- Build a strong professional network and actively engage in industry associations and forums.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, production, and R&D to ensure alignment on sales strategies and seamless customer service.
- Engage with clients, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners to build relationships and drive business growth.
- Responsible for decision-making within the scope of business development and sales strategies.
- Authority to negotiate and finalise contracts in alignment with organisational policies and guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the oil and gas, or petrochemical industries.
- Strong business acumen and market knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Persuasive and negotiation skills to drive sales and close deals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and revenue goals.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
