- Conduct comprehensive inspections of lighting installations to ensure compliance with design specifications and applicable codes.
- Review lighting plans and specifications to verify the correct installation of fixtures, controls, and wiring.
- Document inspection findings, including any non-compliance issues, and provide detailed reports to project managers.
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve issues related to lighting installations.
- Provide recommendations for corrective actions and enhancements to meet project quality standards.
- Stay up to date with industry standards, lighting technologies, and inspection best practices.
- Participate in quality assurance meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Design, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in lighting inspection or quality control in construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, installation best practices, and relevant codes.
- Experience conducting field inspections and evaluating lighting installations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with lighting design software is a plus.
