The Land Bank Director will be responsible to strategically contribute to the company's assets and provide insights to the land portfolio into the long-term strategy. Lead a team to deliver and manage the company land bank in line with the company strategy, vision and mission.
  • Provide detailed land bank information and insights to the portfolio review exercise.
  • Translate the outcome of the 5 years strategy into land tiering, and prioritise the transactability efforts based on land activation schedule.
  • Direct the overall function's daily operations by providing expertise, assistance and mentorship for employees, enabling teamwork, aligning objectives and coordinating within the function employees to improve work output.
  • Serve as a role model to ensure employees' awareness and commitment to the company's vision, mission, values, fundamentals and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated workforce, and continuously improve performance.
  • Maintain the land database including land information, legal status and technical information for all lands in the portfolio.
  • Maintain a centralised data repository and land factsheet for all lands in the portfolio, including the land history, valuations, technical characteristics, price trends, regularity risks, transactability readiness, and activation priorities and models.
  • Coordinate all necessary legal and regulatory negotiations and agreements with government counterparts, to resolve governmental issues (if any) and secure land transactability.
  • Ensure all lands in the portfolio have kroki; Secure electronic title deed for all the lands in the portfolio.
  • Liaise with development function to obtain necessary technical support in enabling land transactability.
  • Build and manage a motivated, engaged and competent workforce, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to meet the organizational challenges and goals.
  • Identify the respective function employees' training and developmental needs and bridge the knowledge gaps to ensure continuous progression and high-level of competence within the team.
  • Develop & Review of land management policies, systems, processes and procedures to ensure the consistent application and ease of business support operations.
  • Ensure that all relevant periodic and ad-hoc reports are prepared timely and accurately, and meet company's requirements, policies and standards.
  • Represent the function and actively contribute to various committees/meetings (internal and external) to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of land management function systems, processes and practices considering 'international best practices', improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance to relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the department in order to guarantee employee compliance and a responsible environmental attitude.
