Job Description:Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Manager - MEP Electrical Engineering will oversee the full lifecycle of MEP systems across residential developments, ensuring designs meet project requirements, construction is executed to specification, and systems are successfully handed over to operations. The role requires strong technical expertise across all MEP disciplines, leadership of consultants and contractors, and active engagement with clients, authorities, and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Design Management
  • Lead and coordinate the design of MEP services across all residential disciplines: air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Review and validate design submissions from consultants, ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and project requirements.
Team & Consultant Management
  • Manage design consultants and internal teams, ensuring quality and timely delivery of design packages.
  • Provide leadership, technical guidance, and problem-solving support to multidisciplinary design teams.
Tender & Contract Documentation
  • Participate in the development and management of tender and contract documents for MEP scopes in residential projects.
  • Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Commercial Support
  • Support commercial teams during tender stages, post-tender reviews, and contract negotiations.
  • Provide technical input to clarify and evaluate MEP-related proposals.
Construction & Contract Management
  • Lead construction consultants and contractors in the execution of MEP works on residential projects.
  • Monitor site progress, resolve technical challenges, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Handover & Close-Out
  • Oversee the preparation of project closing documents and ensure the proper handover of MEP systems to clients and operations teams.
  • Conduct final inspections, testing, and commissioning of MEP installations.
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the key MEP representative with clients, authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Maintain effective communication and ensure alignment across all stakeholders throughout project phases.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in MEP design and project management, with at least 5 years on residential developments.
  • Proven track record managing MEP consultants and contractors on large-scale residential projects.
  • Strong knowledge of international and local building codes, standards, and authority requirements.
  • Experience in developing tender/contract documents and supporting commercial negotiations.
  • Hands-on experience in construction/contract management and project close-out.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities.
