- Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems across all phases of the project lifecycle—from design review through execution and handover.
- Review and validate shop drawings, material submittals, and coordination drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Coordinate technical resolutions for clashes and discrepancies between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines using BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools where applicable.
- Assist in preparing Method Statements and technical documentation required for approvals and construction.
- Engage with consultants, clients, and site teams to resolve design-related queries and ensure timely approval of technical submissions.
- Support procurement and site teams with technical evaluations, material selection, and value engineering initiatives.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on constructability, sequencing, and technical risk assessments.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in technical roles within MEP contracting, including design coordination and site execution support.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and local regulations governing MEP works.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office; familiarity with coordination platforms like Navisworks is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple technical issues simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
