  • Design, implement, and maintain data center infrastructure including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
  • Monitor and optimize data center operations to ensure maximum uptime and performance.
  • Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and ensure proper resource allocation and performance tuning.
  • Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery solutions to protect data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with data center security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of systems and infrastructure to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement and support.
  • Maintain documentation of data center configurations, processes, and standards.
  • Assist in capacity planning, performance monitoring, and scalability recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and optimize workloads.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data center management or engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure including servers, networking, and storage.
  • Proficiency in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud services.
  • Experience with backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery planning.
  • Knowledge of data center safety, security protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, VCP, CompTIA Server+) are a plus.
