Design and implement protective measures for network components
Conduct regular assessments of network vulnerabilities and risks
Develop security strategies and action plans
Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential threats
Respond to incidents and security breaches in a timely manner
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies and trends
Provide training and guidance to other team members

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in network security, preferably as a Systems Protection Engineer
Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability assessment tools
Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
Understanding of industry standards and best practices in network security
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or equivalent are highly desirable
