Responsible for maintenance of electrical equipment such as wiring, switches, switchboards and electrical mechanisms along with measuring, cutting, bending, assembling and installing electrical conduits.
Responsible for Installation, maintenance, and repairs of a variety of industrial electrical equipment used in the commercial bakery manufacturing for light, power and automatically controlled machinery such as transformers, circuit breakers, AC and DC motors, variable frequency drives, sensors, PLCs and HMIs, camera systems, robotics, temperature control systems, monitoring instrumentation and other electrical / electronic system
Responsible for Installation, repairs, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of combustion control equipment and construction.
Responsible for interpreting complicated wiring diagrams and schematic drawings and giving direction to others in the
Solves all electrical emergency problems or contacts supervisor for instructions.
Works in all areas of processing and packaging, as assigned, which includes being is close proximity to and crossing platforms over machinery.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEPrior experience in a food manufacturing facility preferred (commercial bread manufacturing highly preferred)
Experience as an industrial electrician in a high-speed manufacturing or technical environment required.
Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, electronic test equipment, single and three phase electrical systems and wiring procedures to 600V required.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics and parts specifications.
Knowledge and some programming of PLCs (Allen Bradley), servo drives and VFDs in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Knowledge of HMIs preferred. Must have effective communication skills and comfortable working with team members across the whole organization.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:Must have own hand tools
Must pass a series of aptitude, written and hands-on tests.
Must be willing to work overtime and holidays as needed.
