Business Development Specialist
(Full-Time or Part-Time, Fit Out/Construction Projects under Main Contractors)Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist (full-time or part-time) with a strong background in securing fit-out or construction projects under main contractors. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning projects in this sector and brings well-established relationships within the market.Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities for fit-out or construction projects, specifically under main contractors.
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new projects and build partnerships with main contractors.
Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals for construction/fit-out tenders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders in the industry.
Negotiate project terms, pricing, and contracts to close deals.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
Keep up-to-date records of leads, activities, and project status using CRM tools.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the fit-out/construction sector.
Achieve or exceed agreed project acquisition targets and KPIs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field (preferred).
Previous experience in business development within fit-out or construction projects, especially under main contractors, is mandatory.
Demonstrable success and contacts in securing fit-out/construction projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong organizational abilities and self-motivation.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Willingness to travel or attend meetings as necessary.
Work Schedule
