Job Type: Full TimePosition OverviewAs a Design Manager, you'll be the central link between consultants, client teams, and internal stakeholders-ensuring seamless design execution from concept to IFC stage. This role blends strategic oversight, technical expertise, and stakeholder coordination to deliver a high-quality, fully integrated design solution in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams across architecture, infrastructure, MEP, and landscaping
  • Ensure timely and compliant delivery of design packages in line with project specifications and authority requirements
  • Review and manage submissions throughout all project stages, maintaining control over quality, progress, and scope
  • Drive collaboration between consultants and internal departments such as planning, procurement, and construction
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, technical reviews, and regulatory approvals
  • Identify design risks early, propose mitigation strategies, and manage design change processes efficiently
  • Maintain structured logs of RFIs, submittals, actions, and approvals to support smooth information flow
  • Support value engineering initiatives and align design with program goals, sustainability targets, and cost benchmarks
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years in design management for large-scale mixed-use, residential, hospitality, or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with regional authority standards, building codes, and international best practices
  • Proven ability to coordinate multiple consultants and disciplines under tight timelines
  • Proficient in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, and MS Office tools for design coordination and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder interactions
  • Credentials such as PMP, RIBA, PE, or LEED AP are advantageous
  • Experience on Vision 2030 or giga projects in the Middle East is highly desirable
