- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE management systems and procedures for infrastructure projects, aligned with local regulations, international standards, and company policies.
- Lead the development and implementation of HSE plans, risk assessments, and emergency response plans for infrastructure projects, in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and assessments to identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with HSE requirements, standards, and best practices.
- Provide HSE guidance and support to project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders, promoting a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs for project personnel, ensuring understanding and adherence to HSE policies, procedures, and practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, analyzing root causes and contributing factors, and recommending corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and report on HSE performance, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, and third-party stakeholders on HSE matters, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and contractual obligations.
- Drive continuous improvement in HSE performance and culture, implementing initiatives to enhance safety awareness, engagement, and performance across project teams.
- Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and technologies in HSE management, incorporating new methodologies and tools into project delivery processes as appropriate.
- Saudi Nationality required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in HSE management within the construction industry, with a focus on infrastructure projects such as roads, highways, tunnels, and bridges.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices, particularly in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in HSE management systems, tools, and software, such as incident management systems, risk assessment tools, and HSE auditing software.
- Professional certifications in HSE management, such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent, preferred.
- Commitment to safety, health, and environmental excellence, with a proactive and results-oriented approach to HSE management.
