The Groceries team at Careem is on a mission to redefine how people shop for everyday essentials. We run a fast-paced, dynamic operation that spans warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition. As part of this team, you'll be surrounded by driven individuals who are passionate about quality and efficiency.What you'll doDevelop and enforce quality control protocols across warehouse and delivery operationsMonitor and audit product freshness, packaging standards, and order accuracyTrain and supervise warehouse staff on quality standards and proceduresLead root cause analyses for recurring quality issues and implement corrective actionsCollaborate with supply chain and vendor teams to ensure compliance with Careem's standardsReport quality metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiativesEnsure compliance with local food safety regulations and internal hygiene protocolsWhat you'll need5-7 years of experience in quality assurance or operational excellence within grocery, FMCG, or retail industriesPrior experience in managing quality control processes in warehouse or fulfillment environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using data for root cause analysisExcellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practicesAbility to lead and train teams, with strong communication and collaboration skillsFluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a plusWhat we'll provide youWe offer colleagues the opportunity to drive impact in the region while they learn and grow.
