As the Director of Commercial Contracts / Bidding in Facilities Management at Qiddiya Investment Company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our facilities management operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the bidding process, manage commercial contracts, and ensure that all contractual obligations are met while maximizing value for the organization.You will collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to implement effective bidding strategies and negotiation tactics that align with Qiddiya’s vision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, in-depth knowledge of commercial contracts, and exceptional strategic thinking and leadership skills.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the bidding process for facilities management services, including preparation of proposals and evaluation of bids from contractors and service providers.
  • Develop and implement commercial contract strategies to ensure optimal outcomes for the company.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance departments to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and report on contract performance, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders to support effective communication throughout the bidding and contract lifecycle.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to the team on best practices in commercial contracts and bidding processes.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Facilities Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial contract management and bidding processes, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of facilities management operations and related industry practices.
  • Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
