- Plan, design, and oversee the installation and maintenance of OSP infrastructure (fiber/copper)
- Conduct field surveys, route analysis, and site assessments
- Prepare engineering drawings, BOQs, and as-built documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, utility companies, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, permitting, and regulatory guidelines
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications
- 3+ years of experience in OSP engineering, construction, or project management
- Proficient in OSP design tools (AutoCAD, GIS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of fiber/copper routing, trenching, ducting, and splicing practices
- Knowledge of local permitting and ROW (Right-of-Way) requirements

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ODF Fiber Splicing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, splicing, termination, testing, and maintenance of fiber optic cables at Optical Distribution Frame (ODF) sites, data centers, and customer premises. You will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality fiber connectivity and supporting our expanding telecommunications infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fiber optic cable splicing, both fusion and mechanical.
- Install and maintain ODF (Optical Distribution Frames), fiber patch panels, and enclosures.
- Conduct OTDR, Power Meter, and Light Source testing to verify splicing quality and fiber continuity.
- Route, label, and secure fiber cables neatly and safely within ODFs.
- Read and interpret fiber network designs, splicing plans, and as-built documentation.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair on fiber optic networks.
- Maintain accurate records of splicing logs, test results, and materials used.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Collaborate with field teams, network engineers, and clients for timely project completion.
- Proven experience as a fiber splicing technician (+4 years preferred).
- Proficiency in fusion splicing, fiber testing, and ODF handling.
- Familiarity with OTDR, power meters, fiber identifiers, and related tools.
- Strong knowledge of FTTH, FTTx, and backbone fiber network layouts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites and work flexible hours if needed.
