- Specialist qualification in General Surgery
- American Board / FRCSC Canada / CCT UK / CSCST Irish / FRACS Australia or NZ
- Fellowship or equivalent in Thoracic Surgery (minimum of 2 years)
- Minimum 1 years professional experience as Consultant in Thoracic Surgery and 3 years in General Surgery.
- Experience in updated methods of Thoracic Surgery including minimal invasive surgery and Endoscopic Thoracic Surgery.
- Valid license to practice from country of origin
- Must qualify for Consultant Thoracic Surgeon classification with Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- Life Support certification course
