Your new role, what's involved?
  • Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and products using CAD software and engineering principles.
Conduct analysis and simulation studies to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.Participate in prototyping and testing activities to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design concepts, analysis results, and project updates.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers from other disciplines, to integrate mechanical systems with electrical, software, and other components.Troubleshoot technical issues and propose innovative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during the design and development process.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mechanical engineering through self-study and participation in training programs.Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, codes, and specifications, as well as adherence to quality assurance processes and procedures.   • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical inspection, quality control, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and practices.
  • Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Experience using inspection tools, equipment, and testing instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, ISO) is desirable.
  • Certification in mechanical inspection or quality assurance (e.g., Certified Quality Inspector) is a plus.
