Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the procurement process for electrical materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project specifications.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best pricing and quality.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, contracts, and material submittals in coordination with project teams.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment and materials comply with international standards and local regulations.
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and finance teams to manage procurement schedules and cost control.
  • Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and logistics to prevent project delays.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new technologies, and alternative materials to optimize procurement strategies.
  • Handle claims, disputes, and contract amendments with vendors as needed.
  • Prepare and submit procurement reports and cost analyses to management.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in electrical procurement, preferably in large-scale construction or MEP projects.
  • Certifications: Procurement or supply chain management certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and international procurement standards.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems, procurement software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to strategically negotiate contracts and manage supplier relations.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong capability in cost analysis, budget control, and risk assessment.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills in Arabic and English (Preferred).
