- Lead the design process for sports assets, ensuring all designs align with Qiddiya’s vision and strategic goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including sports organizations, to define specific requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs.
- Manage a team of designers and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable sports facilities that enhance athlete and spectator experiences.
- Develop design standards and guidelines that adhere to international regulations and best practices in sports facility design.
- Conduct regular design reviews to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the overall vision.
- Engage with local and international sports venue experts to incorporate cutting-edge trends and technologies into the design.
- Ensure all designs comply with environmental sustainability standards and promote efficient use of resources.
- Present design concepts to senior leadership and other stakeholders, articulating the vision, benefits, and feasibility of the proposed designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in designing sports facilities or large-scale architectural projects.
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large-scale projects from concept to completion.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design experience, particularly in sports or entertainment sectors.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and related tools.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging varied stakeholders.
- Understanding of sustainability practices and regulations related to sports facility design.
