The Industrial Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing technical training programs related to manufacturing, engineering, HSSE and job certification. Ensures that employees acquire the necessary competencies and certifications to perform their duties safely and efficiently.Lead and drive capability building in manufacturing, engineering and HSSE through innovative training opportunities, technical assessments, and certification programs.Key Duties, Responsibility & Accountabilities1.Supervise subordinates within the Learning & Development, including assigning work activities and projects, monitoring workflow, and reviewing results.
2.Develop and implement a technical training strategy aligned with operation and business objectives.
3.Oversee the design, development, and planning of the technical training and Industrial Job certification program
4.Advise subordinates on technical training evaluation, on-the-job certifications, and career development best practices and ensure that all adopted policies and programs are aligned with the overall HR strategy at SATORP.
5.Provide technical guidance to evaluators to ensure that general, technical, and industrial skills training is effectively developed, delivered, and maintained according to the best industry practices, quality standards, SATORP's requirements, and allocated budgets.
6.Develop and monitor KPIs and performance targets for the industrial training program and certification program.
7.Develop the annual budget for industrial and technical training programs, including costs and future plans.
8.Ensure the effective implementation of the Industrial Job certification program, on job training, industrial training and technical academic programs and make sure that all related records, manuals, templates, and documentation are properly designed, communicated, maintained, and updated.
9.Ensure the effective implementation, enhancement of systems, reports and dashboard for industrial training and certification programs
10.Ensure the effectiveness and promptness of all administrative and logistics activities associated with Industrial Job Certification.
11.Engage and identify the technical and industrial technical needs through job analysis, performance evaluations and consultation with manufacturing, engineering, HSSE leaders and other stakeholders.
12.Support and explain the policies, plans, and programs related to the Industrial Job certification Training program and career development to the Senior Management at SATORP.
13.Monitor learning trends, tools and technologies to continuously improve training delivery.
14.Act as a coach to subordinates to identify their training and career development, recommend training courses.
15.Monitor training budgets and optimize cost-effectiveness.
16.Ensure compliance with training policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
17.Perform other related duties as assigned by the L&D Section Manager.Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in, Human Resource, Business Administration or EquivalentMinimum Experience
Ten (10) years of experience in Industrial and technical trainings, technical on job training and job certification.Other Requirements (If Required)
- Supervisory and leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of industry best practice in Industrial Trainings.
- In-depth knowledge of technical and industrial training practices.
- Good knowledge of Saudi Labor law and regulations and governmental requirements.
- Strong knowledge of E-Learning Technologies and Applications.
- Strong knowledge of L&D programs implementation.
- Strong technical knowledge of operations and processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations to all levels of Management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze data and measure training impact
