Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and regular inspections on firefighting systems such as sprinkler systems, fire pumps, hydrants, hose reels, landing valves, and fire extinguishers. Troubleshoot and repair issues in firefighting system components to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. Conduct functional testing of pumps (jockey, main, diesel), valves, flow switches, and pressure systems. Replace worn-out or defective parts, ensuring minimal system downtime. Maintain accurate service and inspection records as per company and Civil Defense requirements. Ensure maintenance tasks comply with NFPA standards and local regulations. Support site teams during Civil Defense inspections and third-party audits. Assist in installation, commissioning, and modifications of firefighting systems under supervision. Adhere strictly to safety policies and proper use of PPE on site. Qualifications: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or a related field. Firefighting system training or certification (preferred). 6 years of experience in firefighting system maintenance. Good understanding of NFPA standards and Saudi Civil Defense requirements. Experience working with various firefighting equipment brands and configurations. Key Skills: Solid knowledge of firefighting systems and mechanical components. Hands-on experience with pumps, valves, and pressurized pipe networks. Ability to read system schematics, piping diagrams, and O&M manuals. Good documentation and reporting skills. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Ability to manage tasks independently and within teams. Problem-solving and diagnostic skills under pressure.
