- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming construction materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, tagging, and safe storage of Civil and MEP materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, stock levels, and material transactions using computerized inventory systems.
- Coordinate material issuance to site teams and subcontractors based on approved requests, ensuring timely delivery to work fronts.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation to prevent material loss or discrepancies.
- Track and document the movement of scrap and unused materials, ensuring proper disposal or return to suppliers as applicable.
- Communicate with procurement, site engineers, and suppliers regarding material deliveries, discrepancies, returns, or urgent requirements.
- Ensure store compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and cleanliness standards.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports as required by site or management.
- Assist in mentoring junior store staff and contribute to process improvements in store management.
- High school diploma required; technical diploma or university degree in a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper in construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction materials, especially Civil and MEP supplies.
- Skilled in inventory management systems, MS Excel, and general computer applications.
- Ability to read and understand technical material specifications and drawings.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and capable of working in fast-paced project environments.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.
