Lifting Foreman

- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with lifting plans, safety procedures, and industry regulations.
- Conduct pre-lift safety checks and risk assessments.
- Inspect and verify lifting equipment, slings, shackles, and rigging gear before use.
- Coordinate with Crane Operators, Riggers, and Engineers for seamless lifting execution.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to permit-to-work systems and lifting procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to rigging teams on safe lifting practices.
- Report any incidents, near misses, or equipment malfunctions to management.
- Maintain proper documentation of lifting activities and equipment inspections.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in lifting operations within construction projects.
- Experience in stadium construction or large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred
- Knowledge of heavy lifting operations with mobile and tower cranes is preferred
- Certification in Lifting Supervision, Rigging, or Crane Operations (e.g., LOLER, OPITO, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of lifting plans, crane configurations, and load calculations.
- Familiarity with international safety standards (OSHA, LOLER, BS 7121, ASME B30).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting operations efficiently.
- Good leadership and communication skills.
