- The Contract Lifecycle Specialist’s primary responsibility is to manage and oversee the entire contract lifecycle within his/her designated category. The role holder will play a critical role in ensuring the effective creation, negotiation, and compliance management of contracts, while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with category teams and suppliers to draft and create contracts that clearly outline terms, conditions, and expectations.
- Assist in contract negotiations, ensuring that contractual terms align with ASMO's requirements and standards.
- Monitor and manage contract compliance, ensuring that both ASMO and suppliers adhere to contractual agreements and legal obligations.
- Handle any necessary amendments or modifications to contracts, as required during the contract's lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract creation, negotiations, amendments, and compliance management.
- Regularly review contracts to identify opportunities for cost savings, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
- Ensure that all contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with legal experts.
- Communicate contract-related information and updates to suppliers and internal stakeholders as needed.
- Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency.
- Implement all relevant Department’s policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required.
- Master’s degree in law, Business Administration, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English.
- 5 years in a similar role .
