Provide guidance, direction, and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Engage team members in achieving Council objectives. Proactively participate in learning and understanding roles within the Business and Administration Team. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and provide feedback to team members to facilitate professional development. Provide finance training and operational support to staff using Council’s financial modules. In collaboration with Senior Staff, assist with the development and implement financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic direction. Conduct financial analysis, variance analysis and performance reporting to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls to safeguard the organisations financial assets and integrity. Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements, in a timely manner.
